Samantha was born in Methuen Massachusetts. She is very proud of her immigrant roots coming from her Ecuadorian mother and father. She went to Elementary school in Lawrence MA, and shortly after, she and her family moved to Miami, FL. There she graduated from Cutler Bay High School and went to Miami Dade shortly after. After marrying Chery, she moved back to the Lawrence, MA, area and finished her college studies at UMASS Lowell. Samantha is currently the Lead 7th grade English Language Arts teacher for the Lowell Community Charter Public School. She leads a team of 8 teachers in support of a very culturally diverse group of 7th grade students. She studied at the Latin American Theological Institute and became an ordained elder through the Free Methodist organization. Samantha also helped plant Grace Point Church in the greater Lowell area and is using the lessons learned from that process to establish Expansion Ministry in the Merrimack Valley.
