OUR MISSION

Love God, serve our community, & prepare people for eternity.

OUR MISSION

Love God, serve our community, & prepare people for eternity.

Who We Are

We allow

the Holy Spirit of God

to lead

We embrace the transforming work of the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ left us to empower us to love and serve God and others in joyful obedience.

We demonstrate

God's heart

for justice

We value the image of God in all men, women, and children, acting with compassion toward the oppressed, resisting oppression, and stewarding Creation. We want to not only realize a better society reflecting the values of the Kingdom of God, but that all may be reconciled to God and one another in ways that reflect God’s just character.

We are compelled

to Expand

God’s Kingdom

We want to see God’s kingdom expand exponentially as ordinary people are equipped by God’s power to live extraordinary lives. The message, life, and ministry that Jesus Christ modeled on earth motivates us to do so.

We welcome

and

embrace all

We are as diverse as the community we serve and celebrate the beauty of our multicultural-multiethnic backgrounds and upbringing as God intended. We will leverage these inherent and acquired 2nd generation experiences to inform the way we support, and serve our community.

We are

in awe of

God's living word

We align our lives and ministry on the unshakeable foundation of God’s inspired word we call the Bible. We mentor others as we gather together to help understand and apply its truths. Through the systematic study and application of its truths we can grow to emulate Christ himself.

What We Believe:

WE BELIEVE in one God, who is eternal, all-powerful, and absolutely Holy; who has revealed Himself to man as existing in three distinguishable expressions of His essential being: The Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; and John 14:15-17).

WE BELIEVE in the Spirit-filled life, a life of continual growth and separation from the system of the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear (respect) of God as an expression of Christian faith. (Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1).

WE BELIEVE that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments (the accepted canon of Holy Scripture) is God's eternal, inspired, infallible Word in its entirety: and is the supreme standard and final authority for all conduct, faith, and doctrine. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2Peter 1:19-21).

WE BELIEVE Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8, 17; Romans 4:25).

WE BELIEVE The Kingdom of God is realized now as God’s reign is established in the hearts and lives of believers. We also believe in a literal future Kingdom where Jesus Christ will reign as a benevolent, just, and loving King. This relates to the return of Christ when judgment will fall upon the present order. The enemies of Christ will be subdued; the reign of God will be established; a total cosmic renewal which is both material and moral shall occur; and the hope of the redeemed will be fully realized (Matt. 6:10, 19-20. Phil. 2:9-10; 1 Thess. 4:15-17, Rev. 14:6, 21:3-8; 22:1-5, 17).

WE BELIEVE in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12-15; Romans 5:11).

WE BELIEVE the church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. The church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ and expanding his kingdom. (Matthew 16:18-19; Acts 2:41-47; Ephesians 1:22-23).
